Start With Jesus
Jesus is God come near.
Not a distant idea. Not merely a good teacher. Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God who came to bring us home to God.
The Son of God—fully human, fully divine, and the clearest picture of what God is like.
He lived without sin, welcomed outsiders, gave his life for us, and rose from the dead.
Forgiveness and restored life with God as a gift—not a reward for getting yourself together.

Why Jesus?
Because Jesus shows us what God is like and does what we cannot do for ourselves. His death and resurrection open the way to forgiveness, hope, and restored relationship with God.

Grace means God moves toward us with love and forgiveness as a gift. Christianity is not a ladder for impressive people to climb. God acts first; we receive and respond.

It means trusting Jesus and learning his way over time—through Scripture, prayer, worship, community, and everyday choices. It is a relationship and a lifelong direction, not instant perfection.

Notice who moves first.
This short passage is one of the clearest summaries of the Christian story. Look for God’s love, God’s initiative, and God’s desire to save rather than condemn.
What does God give? His Son—not advice from a distance.
What is the invitation? Trust, not religious performance.
What is God’s purpose? Rescue and life, not condemnation.
